Will your business sell only to other businesses; sell exclusively to the general public, or both. Define that first. Don’t prevaricate. Find that simple starting point.
Is this a business you already know? Something you’ve done while working for someone else or something completely new you are trying?
Has it always been a dream to run your own business or something you feel you’re being slightly forced into due to redundancy, or simply a result of hating your job?
Are you ambitious? Do you want to build a company that will create employment, be well known and give you a great sense of satisfaction in what you build, allowing you a future asset that you can pass on to the next generation or sell to assure you of a comfortable retirement?
Is this a Lifestyle Business that allows you complete flexibility, only working when you want to, putting family and fun ahead of work – while still enjoying what you do to make a living?

What used to be known as a USP or Unique Sales Proposition was one or more things that made your product or service different from your competitors.
What makes your product or service unique to a market place; meaning you have no immediate competition.
